for the first time in 30 years throbbing gristle are now back on their own original industrial records label. to mark the occasion we are pleased to announce the rerelease of tgs first five albums on vinyl & cd. each album has been restored and remastered specifically for each format by chris carter from 24bit baked tape digital transfers of the original first generation analogue master tapes. each of the cd special-editions are presented in a gatefold sleeve featuring restored and remastered cover artworks and an integrated 8-page booklet (the booklets feature different artworks and content to the vinyl editions). while the cd releases feature the same track count and running order as the vinyl editions each cd special-edition also includes an exclusive bonus cd containing content from the year of the albums original release. this additional content includes tg live tracks and remastered singles. the greatest hits cd special-edition also includes two previously unreleased throbbing gristle mixes from the 1980s.

gro§artiges neues signing auf compost! pitchben aus mźnchen katapultiert den electro funk der 80er jahre ins hier und jetzt. the whispers, d-train oder zapp sind die einflźsse des mźnchner musikers und produzenten, der in den 90ern als teenager unter dem namen m-tech seine ersten gehversuche als dj machte. 2002 gewann er die deutschen dmc meisterschaft mit seiner gescratchten interpretation des break machine-hits street dance . mit seinem ersten album pitchslap nimmer der bayer ganz klar bezug auf seine electro funk-helden der 80er, doch geht es ihm eindeutig nicht darum, den sound der vergangenheit authentisch nachzubauen. pitchben ist ein kind der €re nach daft punk und ed banger - und das hšrt man diesen energiegeladenen tracks an. pitchslap ist kein album, das nur am computer entstanden ist. der mźnchner hat sich neben diversen sŠngern eine blŠser-sektion ins studio geholt, und die streicher kommen ebenfalls nicht aus der konserve. und demnŠchst wird pitchben mit seiner band die bźhnen der republik rocken.
